A shopping centre in Ipswich has been decorated ahead of the festive season with events planned for all families to attend.
Buttermarket Shopping Centre in the town centre has been transformed into a gingerbread wonderland for the festive period.
As part of the celebration there is a gingerbread trail, featuring a variety of gingerbread characters which children can look out for.
Those taking part in the trail can pick up a booklet to mark off all the characters they find.
There are also meet and greet events set for people to meet the shopping centre mascot, Butterbear and his festive companion, Gingerbread Man.
People are able to meet the Butterbear on Saturday, December 2 from 11am to 3pm and Saturday, December 16, at the same time.
They can meet the Gingerbread Man on Saturday, December 9 and 23 from 11am to 3pm.
People are also in with a chance of winning £100 to spend in one of the stores in the shopping centre if they post festive moments from Buttermarket on social media using the hashtag #ButtermarketChristmas.
Rebecca Bird, centre manager of Buttermarket Shopping Centre, expressed her excitement about the Christmas festivities.
She said: "This year, we're bringing the magic of Christmas to life at Buttermarket Shopping Centre.
"From heartwarming meet and greets with Butterbear and the Gingerbread Man to the Gingerbread Trail and the chance to win fantastic prizes, there's something for everyone.
"We invite the community to join us in creating cherished memories this festive season."
