The winners of the 2023 'Light Up Ipswich' competition has been announced for the best Christmas lights in the town, this year, with an added category.
The annual competition awards first, second and third place to the Best House, Best Street and new for this year, Best Pub.
The awards are decided by Ipswich MP Tom Hunt.
Best Street went to Elvedon Close, winning the award for the third year in a row.
They were followed by Radcliffe Drive in second and Melbourne Road in third place.
The winner of best house went to the Louka Family, who live on Elvedon Close, and they won the award for the second year in a row.
Second place went to Avocet Court Care Home, with third place being undecided as Mr Hunt couldn't choose between the houses on Radcliffe Drive.
Tom Hunt said: "Third year in a row Elvedon Close in Ravenswood has won the Christmas Lights Competition.
"Clear winners.
"Pretty amazing stuff, I hear some of the planning started over the summer!
"The biggest competition this year was actually on the street as the battle for best house was quite strong as there were many strong contenders on the same street."
The first winner of Best Pub went to The Golden Hind on Nacton Road.
Owners Darren and Ryan said: "It feels great for our pub to win this award.
"We are big fans of Christmas and we love the fact our hard work with this has been recognised."
Mr Hunt continued: "For many years, Ryan and Darren have put on a great show but this year takes the prize.
"There were many impressive displays this year.
"The competition has grown enormously since it was first started and has gone from strength to strength each year."
