The opening date for Ipswich's newest McDonald's has been announced.
The new restaurant, which is located in the Tesco car park at the Copdock Interchange, will open on Wednesday, January 31, the fast food chain has announced.
Building work for the new restaurant began in August 2023, with the frame of the new McDonald's visible in November.
In December, the first jobs for the new eatery were advertised on the company's website.
Posts for full-time crew members and a maintenance person have been advertised.
In July 2021, Babergh District Council, the local authority for the area, approved the application from the fast food chain to build a new restaurant in the car park off the A1214.
When the restaurant is open, it will be the sixth operating McDonald's restaurant in the Ipswich area.
Other fast food chains at the Copdock Interchange include Burger King, Costa Coffee and Tesco's in-store café.
Plans have recently been unveiled to open another McDonald's restaurant in the former Evans Cycles store at Martlesham Heath.
