The search is now on to find the acts that will take to the stage for this year's Ipswich Music Day.
Musicians can now apply to take part in the event on Sunday, July 7.
The free one-day music event is returning to Christchurch Park for its 34th year with six music stages, alongside fairground rides, activities, a market and food vendors.
During 2023's event, Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna was among the 24,500 people enjoying the summer event.
Taking to the stage last July were performers including; The Joe Keeley Band, whose debut album Blackwood got to number one in the UK album charts for country music in 2020, and Grace Calver, who has seen success with her song releases on Spotify, with thousands of streams.
Before being propelled to global stardom, Framlingham-raised star Ed Sheeran wowed the crowds at Ipswich Music Day as he was making his name in the industry.
Applications are open to musicians from not just Ipswich, but the wider Suffolk area too.
Last year, organisers Ipswich Borough Council received applications from 233 performers, with 52 being successful and performing to nearly 25,000 people in Christchurch Park.
Neil MacDonald, Ipswich Borough Council leader, said: "Ipswich Music Day is one of my favourite days of the whole year. It’s a fantastic opportunity for up-and-coming artists to showcase their talent and for Ipswich to come alive with the sound of music, fun, and entertainment.
In 2024, we hope to attract even more performers of different musical genres to the UK’s biggest free one-day festival – let’s make it the best one yet.”

Applicants have until midnight on Sunday, March 31 to apply.
Successful applicants will be contacted on Friday, April 12 after an advisory group reviews all applications.
