A new McDonald's on the outskirts of Ipswich is set to open on Wednesday.
Construction on the fast food chain's latest eatery, in the Tesco car park at the Copdock Interchange, first started in August last year.
It came after plans were first approved for the site in July 2021.
Documents submitted to Babergh District Council stated Tesco had established it did use not part of its car park for supermarket customers, allowing for McDonald's to take it on.
McDonald's revealed the new branch will open to the public for the first time on Wednesday, January 31.
The new restaurant will become the chain's sixth site in the Ipswich area.
Progress pictures showed the main frame of the building was visible by the end of November 2023.
A section of the car park has been fenced off while work takes place.
McDonald's is also looking to open a branch inside the former Evans Cycles in Martlesham Heath retail park.
Planning documents said the chain would bring a "positive contribution" to the area.
