The founder of an award-winning Suffolk company is celebrating her tenth year in business.
Helen Rudd launched Felixstowe marketing agency Prominent PR from her kitchen table and now employs 11 staff.
Today her clients include Suffolk Mind, the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, Woodforde’s Brewery, Seamans Building and Combat2Coffee.
“This is a momentous milestone which really does mean the world for our business," she said.
“Around 60% of businesses fail in their first three years, so to know we have cemented our place in the local business landscape is a fantastic feeling.
“We have also just relaunched our sister business Prominent Media this year, offering media buying and advertising services to clients across the country.
“These really are exciting times for us.”
Last year the company clinched a Gold Award at the Anglia, Thames and Chiltern PRide Awards for its “Hey 30 Million” campaign.
This highlighted the work of Diss-based social enterprise Hey Girls in donating more than 30 million period products to community organisations nationwide.
Helen thanked her “fantastic” staff for their role in the company's success.
“The thing that makes us stand out over other agencies is our people. People that go above and beyond to support one another and their clients.
“We have worked hard to build a company culture that doesn’t just breed success for our staff, but our clients too.
“We are so thankful for every business who has worked with us on our journey so far and cannot wait to see what the next 10 years will bring.”
