A woman in her 70s has been treated by paramedics after a house fire broke out in Ipswich.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at a semi-detached home in Landseer Road at about 6.30am on Sunday.
A spokesman for the fire service said four appliances from across Ipswich were sent to the scene.
Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to tackle the blaze, which broke out in the ground floor of the home.
The spokesman confirmed that a woman in her 70s suffered from smoke inhalation and was left in the care of the ambulance service.
Although a 'stop' call was made at 7.45am crews remain on scene, the spokesman said.
