Ipswich Beer Festival will be back at St Clement's church at the end of July after its hugely successful return last summer.
The festival will once again be organised by Ipswich's Briarbank Brewery in association with CAMRA, and will see more than 100 real ales, craft beers and ciders on offer from local and national brewers.
Briarbank head brewer Rob Pyke said: “I was blown away by the level of support for the 2023 festival.
"We had almost 2,000 people visit us over the four days, and the feedback we received was very positive.
"Bringing the festival back to Ipswich was something I had been wanting to do for years, so to now be organising it for a second year is just amazing.”
Peter Brooks, Chair of Ipswich Historic Churches Trust, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival back to St Clement’s this summer.
"It was a great success last year and attracted a lot of people in the community back into the building after our latest phase of improvement works.
"It was an atmospheric, fun event that appealed to many people.”
Ipswich and East Suffolk Camra Branch Chairman Gordon Taylor added: “It’s great to see the festival returning again after a successful renaissance in 2023 after a seven-year hiatus.
"Feedback from last year’s festival was overwhelmingly positive, so with the staff and Camra volunteers and, of course, all the attendees we hope to make it a bigger and better event.”
The festival will open on Thursday, July 25, with tickets available as day or festival tickets, and customers will be given the option to pre-purchase their beer tokens ahead of the festival.
As with last year, tickets are available to purchase at an early bird price before midnight June 30, 2024. To get your tickets visit ipswichbeerandciderfestival.co.uk
