A road in a village on the outskirts of Ipswich was closed after a tanker leaked 400 litres of oil.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident in Burstall Lane in Sproughton at about 2pm on Thursday.
Two engines from Princes Street and Woodbridge fire stations were at the scene until 4.48pm.
The leak was from a tanker outside of a house on the lane with the spillage covering the driveway, lawn and spreading up to the property.
