A dog grooming parlour on the outskirts of Ipswich has been granted planning permission to continue operating.
The owner of Fluff and Buff, based in Purdis Farm Lane in Foxhall, applied to East Suffolk Council seeking to retain the use of the building the business operates from and to change its use.
The parish council had initially objected to the proposals, but later reversed its decision.
Planning documents submitted alongside the proposals said: "The business has proved to be successful and provides full time employment for one person and part time employment for a further person.
"Hours of opening are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The proprietor operates a booking system which ensures vehicular movement, visitors to the premises, etc. is kept to a minimum.
"The building has been well constructed and is insulated with all of the associated grooming, etc. taking place within the premises which results in no adverse noise being generated."
East Suffolk's planners have now given the scheme the green light, allowing the business to continue trading from its premises.
