Ipswich Borough Council's planning committee is set to discuss plans for three sites in the town this week.
The council will discuss three main applications at the Planning and Development Committee meeting on Wednesday.
The first concerns the vacant site of a former care home on Woodbridge Road, which would be converted into supported living units for people with learning disabilities if approved.
Submitted by Grosvenor Hill Social Impact Group, the plans for 15 living units will be managed by the United Response charity.
The charity supports adults and young people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.
External alterations would take place at the site, including replacement windows and doors, alternative vehicle access and CCTV installed.
Plans were previously submitted in 2022 and 2023 to convert the care home into supported living units but both were withdrawn, with the most recent prompting many concerns from neighbours.
Suffolk County Council supported the plans for providing choice for vulnerable adults living in Suffolk.
The second concerns the site of the former Clip Joint dog groomers in Nacton Road.
The applicant wishes to change the use of the business space on the ground floor, as well as the vacant first floor flat to a single three-bed house.
The site is currently a dog grooming studio and flat on the ground floor, with a flat spread over two floors.
The owner wishes to turn this into a home with kitchen, lounge, drawing room, office, and bathroom on the ground floor, and three bedrooms with another bathroom upstairs.
The final application concerns the building of four new homes on empty land which was formerly the site of 104 London Road.
If approved, two semi-detached buildings would be built and split into four homes of two and three storeys each.
Decisions are expected from Ipswich Borough Council in due course.
