The weekend's gusty weather brought by the arrival of Storm Kathleen forced the cancellation of the planned Holi celebration in Ipswich's Alexandra Park.
But the overall warm and sunny weather encouraged many people to leave their homes and do something outside - and it was certainly a boon for anyone trying to do some weekend washing.
While Holi was cancelled on Sunday, the Artisan and Producers' Market on the Cornhill went ahead - and seemed to do well attracting shoppers to the town centre.
The heart of Ipswich is becoming busier in spring weather and while some stallholders had to take care - the wind gusts did make lightweight trays on stalls vulnerable - there were a fair number of people seeing what was on offer.
The good weather was replicated across the region - Santon Downham on the Suffolk/Norfolk border near Brandon recorded the highest temperature in the UK so far for 2024 on Saturday with the mercury reaching a fraction under 21C.
But the weather forecast for the next few days is rather mixed - we should lose the high winds but there is the risk of showers and temperatures could vary significantly from day to day.
