A campsite in a village near Ipswich is planning to build an extra log cabin for use by workers.
Complete Planning and Sustainable Development Ltd has submitted the plans, for Wheathill Campsite in Ipswich Road in Willisham, to Mid Suffolk District Council on behalf of the applicant.
The land is currently used as a rural campsite and fisheries business.
Planning documents submitted alongside the proposal outline the plans to construct a single-storey log cabin as a residential dwelling for the use of rural accommodation.
The documents added: "There are currently no suitable accommodation in the local area to either buy or rent.
"There is also very little public transport available to and from the business, this issue is compounded after working hours when the public transport is non-existent, meaning the workers of the campsite and fishery are wholly reliant on private car use when this bus stops running in the evening or early morning.
"The nature of the business also means that the likelihood of having to make journeys when public transport is not operating is high."
Mid Suffolk's planners will give a decision on the scheme at a later date.
