A man has been taken to hospital after the air ambulance was called to a medical emergency in Ipswich.
The air ambulance was seen landing at Ipswich Academy in Brazier Wood's Road, in the south-east of the town, at about 8.30am on Monday.
A spokeswoman for the East Anglian Air Ambulance said it was called to a man in his 70s who had suffered a cardiac arrest.
She added: "Doctor Claire, Critical Care Paramedic Liam and Supervising Doctor Ed gave the patient a full assessment and provided advanced critical care at the scene, including use of a mechanical chest compression device and advanced pain relief.
"The Helicopter Emergency Medical Service crew then accompanied the gentleman by road ambulance to Ipswich Hospital for further treatment."
