A former Ipswich man who had more than 100 "disgusting" indecent images of children on his phone has been jailed for 10 months.
Sentencing 51-year-old Harry Thomson, who has a previous conviction for attempted child abduction, Judge Emma Peters it was clear he had a "sexual pre-occupation with young boys".
She said some of the victims in the “disgusting” indecent images were as young as three and were in "discernible pain".
Thomson, who is formerly of Lackford Place in Ipswich, admitted three offences of possessing indecent images of children at Ipswich Crown Court.
In addition to being jailed, he was made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years and ordered to sign the sex offenders register for the same period.
The court heard that when Thomson’s mobile phone was examined, it was found to contain 36 indecent images of children in the most serious level A category, 37 images in category B and 47 images in the lowest level C category.
