A new illuminated light trail will arrive at an Ipswich park later this year to bring the Christmas spirit to town.

Illuminate Ipswich will be coming to Holywells Park throughout parts of November and December this year.

The trail is meant to last around 60 to 70 minutes in length should you wish to look around all of the light installations around the park.

Organisers of the event have said that Illuminate will "transform all aspects of the park into a winter spectacle".

The trail will feature a food and drinks court half way into the course, where those attending can buy a selection of drinks, hot food and sweet treats.

There will also be marshmallow toasting available and entertainment throughout, as well as sheltered and seating sections.

Due to this being a light trail, Illuminate will be open from 4pm to 8pm.

The trail is set to open on Friday, November 29, and stay throughout December until the 29th.

Tickets for the event can be found here.
