The trial of a 28-year-old Shotley man accused of causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal collision with a cyclist in Ipswich will take place later this month.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Monday (June 3) for a pre-trial review was James Ashman of Lower Harlings, Shotley Gate.
He is charged with causing the death of Benjamin Wright, who died at the scene of the collision in Vernon Street, Ipswich on October 13 2022.
The incident involved a bicycle, a blue Audi S3, a grey Volkswagen Golf and a red Skoda Fabia.
Judge Martyn Levett directed that a further case management hearing should take place on June 19 with Ashman’s trial, which is expected to last five days, due to get underway on June 24.
Ashman is on bail.
