Police have arrested six people after a large fight broke out in Ipswich which left two people requiring hospital treatment.
Officers were called at about 10.30pm on Sunday to reports of fight involving a group of men near Duke Street, by Ipswich Waterfront.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said when officers arrived the group had dispersed.
A man in his 20s was located nearby, having suffered head and facial injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment, where he currently remains.
A teenage boy suffered an injury to his hand which also required treatment.
Police said he has since been discharged.
Officers arrested six people on suspicion of affray in connection with the incident.
They have all been taken to Martlesham police station for questioning.
Some police cordons were in place in the Duke Street area, but these have now all been lifted.
