A farm outside Ipswich has released pictures of its unique wedding-themed programme which includes a photography shoot where newly-wedded couples can get up close and personal with animals. 

Jimmy's Farm in Wherstead will be holding an open day on Sunday, June 16 to show newly-engaged couples its venue and chat through their farm-themed plans for the special day.

The site, owned by TV presenter Jimmy Doherty, has now also released some pictures of recent wedding shoots where couples can be seen posing with a variety of friendly animals.

When you have a wedding at Jimmy's Farm, you can choose to have a photograph taken with one of its 100 rare breeds and exotic species of animals.

The wedding package also offers farm-to-fork food, ranging from a two-course roast to a relaxed buffet-style barbecue platter, a private celebration tent to hold your ceremony, drinks reception and evening reception and an annual pass for the bride and groom.

The full wedding package starts from £9,000 for 50 to 100 people and dates are available on Thursdays only from April to October.
