A multi-venue music festival across Ipswich returns this weekend with over 40 performers taking to stages - here is everything you need to know.

Brighten The Corners Festival 2024 is returning on June 14 and 15, with performers from around the country and region coming to Ipswich to share their talents.

The festival, which has previously been nominated for a festival of the year award, takes over the town with five venues hosting live music.

These include The Smokehouse, which has a capacity of 70 people, The Baths, which has a capacity of 300, St Stephen's Church, which can hold 200 people, Corn Exchange and a free stage on the Cornhill.

You do not need wristband access for the Cornhill stage which is required at the other venues.

The two-day festival brings some of the most exciting emerging names in music to reflect what's happening in the national music scene and bring a taste of it to Ipswich.

The mission of Brighten The Corners has been to create an ecosystem with the three venues (St Stephen's Church, The Baths and The Smokehouse) so that touring bands have the opportunity to play in Ipswich.
