Do you remember watching England's run in Euro 2004 at a pub in Ipswich?

Gareth Southgate's men are one of the favourites to win this year's tournament in Germany - but will have to navigate a group featuring Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia first.

To get into the spirit, we took a look back at some pictures from our archives of fans celebrating England's goals at Euro 2004, held 20 years ago in Portugal.

Unfortunately, the Three Lions were unable to bring it home after losing in the penalty shoot-out to hosts Portugal, who in turn went on to lose in the final to unfancied Greece.

However, the energy and excitement for international success lives on in Ipswich and fans across the town are excited to see what the Three Lions can do in this summer's tournament.
