There were long delays on the A14 outside Ipswich due to a broken down car.
Police were called to the incident just before the Copdock Interchange, on the eastbound carriageway, at about 8.15am on Thursday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said a car had broken down.
According to the AA Traffic Map, there was heavy traffic in the area.
Delays have since cleared.
