Delays are expected around Ipswich due to a festival and an abnormal load movement. 

Various events are taking place in the town on Sunday, meaning drivers are advised to plan their routes accordingly. 

Rolling road blocks will be in place during the Sikh Nagar Kirtan parade, which leaves the Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Bramford Road at 11am on Sunday.

The following roads are expected to see delays: 

  • Bramford Road 

  • Chevallier Street

  • Valley Road

  • Norwich Road

  • St Matthews Street

  • Crown Street

  • Soane Street

An abnormal load weighing almost 500,000kg is also being moved through Ipswich. 

The transformer is being transported from the Port of Ipswich to a substation near Bramford. 

Delays can be expected in Wherstead Road and along the A14.
