A pub in Ipswich which has been left vacant for a number of years is edging nearer to reopening as a new Turkish restaurant as signs have gone up around the outside of the building.

Signs for Kervan Kitchen, a restaurant which will serve Turkish cuisine, have gone up on the former Punch & Judy building in Cardinal Park.

Kervan Kitchen is set to soon open its first branch in Suffolk, with the chain already operating a number of restaurants in Essex.

Work has been ongoing on the building for the last few months, with the latest development being signage on the outside going up displaying the brand's name.

This follows the entrance sign to the park being updated to show the Kervan Kitchen name, with Five Guys and Inflata Nation also added having recently opened at the retail park near the town centre.

An opening date for the new Turkish restaurant and grill is yet to be announced.
