Drivers have been warned that a road in Ipswich will close overnight for works..
Shepherd Drive in Pinebrook in the south-west of the town will be closed between 7.30pm on Wednesday and 2am on Thursday for urgent lining and marking, Suffolk Highways has said.

A 3km diversion route will be in place through town along Scrivener Drive, the A213, Robin Drive, Kingfisher Avenue and Hawthorn Drive and vice versa.

This comes as nearby Swallow Road, Greenfinch Avenue and Merlin Road are also closed until the end of the month.
Drivers have been advised to allow extra time for their journeys or to find alternative routes due to the works taking place.
