The roads will close from 12pm to 2pm as the event in tribute to Thomas Wolsey, the former Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain who was born in Ipswich in March 1473, takes place.
The event will see a procession of Wolsey tributes walking through town joined by top historians and performers.

The parade will start at Ipswich Waterfront and travel through the Saints streets to the Cornhill in the town centre.
Suffolk Highways said these roads will be closed to maintain safety and the aim is to keep disruption to a minimum.
The Thomas Wolsey 550 project was launched in March 2022 to celebrate the life of Ipswich's most famous son.
