A family fun day that was expected to take place in Ipswich has been cancelled after travellers pitched up in a popular park.
Lark in the Park which is an annual family community day at Gippeswyk Park was expected to take place tomorrow between 11am and 4pm.
A number of travellers pitched up in the park in south-west Ipswich on Friday evening.
At least six caravans have been pictured inside the beauty spot.
Organisers announced on social media on Saturday that the event will not take place.
One lady said she was "gutted" that the event had to be cancelled.
