Plans have been submitted to convert a former office near Ipswich town centre into three homes.
Ipswich Borough Council received the plans which would see the former offices of Gotelee Solicitors in Elm Street turn from offices to houses.
The site, which lies to the west of Suffolk Magistrates' Court, would provide two homes on the ground floor and one on the first floor.
The ground floor homes will be studio flats, with an open plan kitchen, dining, living and bedroom area with a toilet and shower.
The first floor will have an open plan kitchen, living and dining area, a separate bedroom and a bathroom.
The application states: "The proposed internal layout ensures all habitable rooms benefit from a source of natural light.
"The property falls within a mixed use area but not close to any uses that are likely to cause any excessive noise or disturbance.
"It is considered the impact of noise from these neighbouring properties on the intended occupiers will be entirely acceptable."
Ipswich Borough Council's planning committee will discuss the proposals in due course.
