Plans have been submitted to build 13 homes on land close to a residential care home in a village outside Ipswich.
Developer Oakhurst East Anglia has applied to East Suffolk Council for permission to build the properties on land opposite Westerfield House in Humber Doucy Lane, on the outskirts of Ipswich.
All of the 13 homes on the non-agricultural grassland will be two storey and the properties will be a mix of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.

Amenity spaces will also be provided within the development.
In a planning statement, the applicant's agent Vision Design and Planning Consultants said there had been significant developments allowed within the grounds of the "heritage asset" Westerfield House.

The agents said the layout of the development was designed to provide the maximum distance from the heritage asset.
They said: "In summary, it is considered that owing to the history of development within the grounds of Westerfield House and the design approach taken within our clients site, the impact upon the setting of the heritage asset will be minimal."
