A rotary club's charity boxing tournament raises nearly £30,000 for good causes with half to be donated to a well known hospice.
The Rotary Club of Felixstowe raised £29,500 from their boxing event on May 17.
St Elizabeth Hospice received 50 per cent of the proceeds and received a cheque for over £15,000 during a club meeting.
Roger Beaton, boxing committee chairman, handed over the cheque to Celia Joseph, community and partnership fundraising manager of the hospice.
The club expressed delight over the successful donation.
