A key road south of Ipswich, which runs under the Orwell Bridge and provides access to the A14 for many people, will close for water maintenance repairs.
The Strand B1456, which connects Woolverstone and Shotley to Ipswich and the A14, will close from 6.30pm on Monday, August 12 to at 6.30am on Tuesday, August 13.

A 12-mile diversion route will be in place along the A137, Stutton Road, Manningtree Road, Holbrook Road, Primrose Hill, the B1080 and B1456 and visa versa.

A spokesman for Anglian Water said the works are taking place to connect a new water supply to the area.
Drivers have been advised to avoid the area during this time and seek alternative routes.
