A road in Ipswich will be closed for three days as carriageway resurfacing works are carried out by Suffolk Highways.
Wherstead Road will be closed from Station Street to Adams Close, off the A137, between Monday, August 19 and Wednesday, August 21.

A spokesman for Suffolk Highways confirmed the road will be closed between 9am and 4.30pm for the resurfacing works.
This comes after the A137 section of the road was closed for multiple weekends in June and July to allow the movement of abnormal loads in the area.

There will be a short diversion route along Sinclair Drive, Bruff Road, Croft Street, Webb Street and Station Street and vice versa.
Drivers in the area have been warned of delays and advised to find alternative routes if possible.
