Two teenagers have denied stabbing another boy in Ipswich.
The 16-year-olds, who cannot be named because of their age, appeared in Suffolk Magistrates’ Court charged with possession of a knife in a public place.
They also face one charge of maliciously wounding a boy, who also cannot be named because of his age.
A trial date is yet to be fixed but the offence is said to have taken place on 20 August last year in Marlow Road in Ipswich.
The trial is set to last for one and a half days and will be dealt with at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court.
The defendants were both bailed on conditions not to contact the victim or prosecution witnesses and to avoid certain areas of Ipswich.
