A charity has its "paws crossed" a dog who has been in care for more than 130 days will find her forever home.
Mabel the bulldog has been in the care of Suffolk Blue Cross at its centre in Wherstead, near Ipswich, for just over four months.
The four-year-old dog has been described as a homebody who loves nothing more than spending time indoors.
Sadie Hollinsworth, assistant manager at Blue Cross in Suffolk, said: "A laid-back girl, she's happy to go on slower paced walks and absolutely loves to play with her toys and is hoping for a toy box of her own in her new home.
Dog owners warned of toxic and 'possibly fatal' algae in water

"Once she knows you, she's your best friend."
Mabel is looking for a home where she is the only pet but she could have play dates with another dog who is social and confident.
As a flat-faced breed the team at Suffolk Blue Cross will advise any new owner of the additional health issues that could develop.
