A house fire has broken out near the home of Ipswich Town Football Club.
Firefighters were called to Portman Road at about 5.15am on Tuesday to reports of a blaze at a two-storey mid-terrace house.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said four appliances are currently at the scene alongside Suffolk police and the ambulance service.
A police cordon is in place while the fire service tackle the blaze.

The spokeswoman said that a fire investigation will be taking place.
Fire crews were also called to Portman Road on Monday to help rescue three people who became trapped 15m off the ground at the football stadium.
A spokesman for the fire service said the individuals were trapped for more than an hour, but crews were able to bring them down safely at about 12.15pm.
A spokesman for Ipswich Town Football Club said: "Workmen on-site initially assisted until fire and rescue arrived very soon after. Everyone was soon taken down to safety and there are no reported injuries."
