Two people have been banned from entering an Ipswich town centre hotel and told to pay costs after admitting to an assault.
Nathan Clipstone, 40, and Jasmine Clipstone, 33, appeared before Suffolk Magistrates' Court in Ipswich charged with a single count of assault by beating another man, with the offence allegedly taking place on November 16 last year according to a court listing.
Both defendants admitted the charge.
Nathan Clipstone, of Foxhall Road, Ipswich, was handed a community order set to expire next April, with a condition of the order being that he does not enter the Great White Horse Hotel in Tavern Street for a period of 12 months.
He was told to comply with any instructions of the responsible officer to attend appointments up to a maximum of 20 days.
Jasmine Clipstone, of Shenstone Drive, Ipswich, was also handed a community order and told not to enter the historic hotel.
She was told to comply with any instructions of the responsible officer to attend appointments up to a maximum of 15 days.
Both defendants were told to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
