An Ipswich GP practice has been rated Good by an independent health regulator stating they provide "safe, quality care".
Hawthorn Drive Surgery were visited by Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspectors in March this year and were found them to be Good in all areas.
The surgery, which is an NHS GP practice, was recognised for carrying out safe and quality care whilst the demand for general practices remains "exceptionally high".
The report states that the provider "understood the challenges to patient access and user feedback" and they had an "effective system to monitor access to appointments and telephone lines for the purpose of continuous improvement".
According to the national GP Patient Survey, the practice was found to perform above national access averages for all the key indicators.
Inspectors found that the service scored 75 out of 100 for the area in the survey.
