Suffolk-born band The Darkness have announced their new tour will begin in Ipswich.
The Ipswich Regent has been selected for the opening night of the band's Dreams on Toast tour when it begins its performances in 2025, a change of scenery to the usual Norwich LCR venue.
The new album will mark the eighth record for the Lowestoft band and the first full album since Motorheart back in 2021.
The record, of the same name, is set to arrive in March 2025.
The band released a single on Wednesday called The Longest Kiss, which is described as an upbeat, 70s-inspired track.
One of the support acts for Wembley has also been announced as rock band Ash, who first supported frontman Justin Hawkins and co. on their Permission to Land Tour over 20 years ago.
The band is set to soar after coming off the back of the Sky Arts Awards, their Latitude "homecoming" and going viral once more after Taylor Swift was spotted singing to "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" at the US Open.
Tickets go on sale Friday, September 27, and fans who pre-order the album will have access to pre-sale.
