A host of the much loved Saturday Live in the 80s is due to take on Ipswich by appearing at the Corn Exchange for a stand-up show in October.
On October 5, Ben Elton, who also appeared in The Young Ones, TFI Friday and Blackadder, will host his new stand-up show - Authentic Stupidity.
After a 15-year hiatus, the comedian sold out his last UK tour in 2019 and is back for more.

Ben said to Ipswich Theatres: "Since my last live tour a whole new existential threat has emerged to threaten humanity.
"Apparently Artificial Intelligence is going to destroy us all.
"Well I reckon our real problem isn’t Artificial Intelligence it’s good old fashioned Authentic Stupidity. Forget AI. It’s AS we need to be worrying about."
There are only a few tickets left, starting from £35.75.
Doors open at 6.30pm, the show begins at 7.30pm and runs for 2.5 hours with an interval.
