Two people and a dog have escaped injury after a fire broke out in a tumble dryer.
Emergency services were called to the blaze at a flat in Clapgate Lane at about 12.40pm on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the fire is believed to have started in the tumble dryer in the kitchen.

The spokeswoman confirmed that there was no damage to adjourning flats in the two storey building and no serious injuries reported.
Two fire engines from Ipswich were called to the scene.
