A bar in Ipswich has been granted permission to start serving alcohol from 8am.
The Station Hotel in Burrell Road, opposite Ipswich railway station will be able to serve from 8am every day, two hours before it was previously able to, after receiving permission to change its serving hours from Ipswich Borough Council.
Back in July, the pub sent an application to the council to alter its licence and a bar servery to the basement in order to "increase the available service area".
Earlier in the year, the pub had an application for a second bar in the basement approved.
This has been approved and the pub is set to benefit further from away fans visiting the town for Ipswich Town games at Portman Road, with hundreds of visiting supporters stopping by the Station for food and drink whenever the Blues play at home.
The entertainment licence and opening hours are to remain the same.
Last month, the pub unveiled its new garden bar which cost the venue £200,000, meaning that more away fans could be accommodated at the pub on matchdays.
