A busy section of the one-way system in Ipswich has one lane closed while urgent maintenance works are carried out.
Anglian Water reported that it is fixing a leak in College Street, by DanceEast.
An Anglian Water spokesperson said: "Our teams are currently carrying out urgent maintenance work on College Street, and in order to keep everyone safe we have had to close one of the lanes.
"All being well, the lane will be re-opened next week.
"We would like to thank our customers for their patience while we safely complete this work. If customers experience low pressure or no water, they can report it to us on our website."
The lane closure is causing heavy delays around the one-way system, as the AA traffic map shows very slow traffic from College Street, up to Key Street to Bishops Hill, on Friday afternoon.
