A man has been jailed after carrying out an indecent sex act while sitting on a park bench.
Muhammad Khan, of Wenlock Street in Luton, appeared for sentencing at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court in Ipswich.
The 31-year-old was charged with one offence of an act of outraging public decency.
According to court documents, Khan had behaved in an “indecent manner” on June 8 whist in Ipswich and touched himself while sat on a park bench.
He was found guilty of the offence and imprisoned for 12 weeks on July 17.
Khan was also ordered to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £650, and a surcharge towards victim services of £154.
This brings the total amount Khan will have to pay to £804.
