Loved ones of a missing man from Ipswich believe he is abroad.
Connor Wilson, 22, was reported missing last Friday (October 11) after he did not return home.
His friend Luke Read said Mr Wilson had been tracked by police catching the 11.11pm train on Saturday, October 12, and is believed to have arrived in Calais in the early hours of Sunday, October 13.
Mr Read said police are awaiting further information from French authorities.
The founder of fitness company Airborne Fit said Mr Wilson told had told friends he would be home after kickboxing on Friday and didn't return.

Mr Wilson stayed for an hour long class between 6pm and 7pm and his last known correspondence for a number of days was his Whatsapp online status which was timed at 7.40pm on Friday.
Mr Wilson's brother, Kieran Wilson said: "He’s a very talented man who loves doing everything exercise-related for fun and pushing himself to the limits, if there are any for him, which I find very inspiring to myself.
"Whilst brothers are known to have arguments and fights as part of growing up, we’ve always been good friends too and hopefully he comes back soon."
He added he hoped the 22-year-old would let people know he was ok as soon as possible.
It is believed Mr Wilson was last seen wearing black trousers, a black sweatshirt with white writing, black trainers and a black rucksack.
He is described as a white male, at 5 feet 10 inches in height, and of a slim build.
Suffolk Police confirmed a missing person's report for Mr Wilson's has been filed.
