Everybody loves a Christmas show and this year Ipswich is gearing up for its biggest celebration ever.
The town is set to see a whopping 237 performances, 77 exhibition days and two iconic films hosted across eight venues.
'Ipswich Entertains for Christmas' is a new campaign being run by ‘We Are Ipswich’, an independent collective of nationally acclaimed arts and heritage organisations.

Taking part in the event will be DanceEast, Eastern Angles, Ipswich Regent Theatre, King Street Cinema, New Wolsey Theatre, Red Rose Chain, Suffolk Archives and Suffolk Libraries.
Douglas Rintoul, chair of ‘We Are Ipswich’, said "This is a great moment for Ipswich’s cultural organisations.
"During this magical time of year, we often work quietly and independently, crafting exceptional experiences for our communities that have also earned us national recognition.
"For the first time, we are coming together to celebrate not just the festive season, but the creativity, energy, and passion that makes Ipswich the cultural capital of Suffolk.
"We’re uniting to showcase everything that makes this town a vibrant, must-visit destination - especially at Christmas."

The events taking place include The Snowman™ and The Snowdog exhibition at The Hold, which offers visitors the chance to see the characters created by the famous illustrator, Raymond Briggs.
Sleeping Beauty, a rock-n-roll rendition of the popular pantomime will also be at the New Wolsey Theatre as part of the festivities.
Other festive events include Jack and the Beanstalk at Ipswich Regent Theatre and Pinocchio at the Red Rose Chain among many more.
