A Victorian murder mystery is about to unfurl in the heart of Ipswich as an historic mansion gets set to host an immersive event.
Christchurch Mansion will host the Royal Blood Murder Mystery on Saturday, November 23.
The event is set in the autumn of 1882, at a celebration for famous actress Lillie Langtry before she sets sail for America.
Event host, Smoke and Mirrors, said: "Lillie isn’t counting on the arrival of royalty, the eruption of scandal, and a particularly intriguing blast from the past… So begins a thrilling Victorian black comedy of divas, dilemmas, and dramatic exits."
Tickets are £35 and include an alcoholic or soft welcome drink.
Doors open at 6.30pm and the event begins at 7.30pm.
The murder mystery is suitable for those aged 16 and over and dressing as your favourite historical character is encouraged.
