A long running hair salon chain has shown its a cut above the rest to take home multiple gongs from a prestigious industry award event.

Hair Ministry, which has four stores across Ipswich and Suffolk, won three awards at the Salon Awards 2024 on Sunday, November 3.

The business was nominated for Best Client Experience, Best Colour Salon and Best Texture Salon and was named the winner in each category.

A spokesperson for Hair Ministry said: "These awards are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our incredible team, as well as the loyalty and trust of our wonderful clients."

The salon business was founded over 20 years ago and has now grown to four stores, the flagship store on Foxhall Road, the Pinewood store on Laburnham Close, a more rural store in Capel St Mary and the newest store in Kesgrave.

A sister branch, Hair Ministry @ The Club Salon is also located with David Lloyd Ipswich.

Ellie Emsden, manager of the Kesgrave branch, said: "To be recognised for these is brilliant as these are things we are very passionate about as a company.

"It was a lovely thing to happen."

To be nominated for the awards, salons must put their names forward, and this year was the first time Hair Ministry had done so.

"We didn't put our names forward expecting to win, and I think next year we will definitely put our names forward for even more.

"Everyone was so happy, we were putting in messages in our group chat and everyone was so chuffed.

"It is an amazing feeling."
