One of the busiest streets in Ipswich is closed for urgent roadworks.
Berners Street, just off Civic Drive, has been closed while Openreach carries out work in the area.
A small section of the road is closed near to the Anglesea Road junction.
The road is expected to be closed until Tuesday.
Berners Street is one of the busiests roads in the town as many drivers use it as a way of getting to the high street when using Henley Road.
In November the road was closed for a few days while UK Power Networks carried out repair works.
Drivers should expect delays around rush hour.
Waiting restrictions in the road are due to be introduced in the new year as it gets easily congested during busy periods.
A spokesperson from Suffolk County Council's highways committee said: "Following the Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) consultation, it has been agreed to implement the waiting restrictions on Berners Street, Ipswich.
"Although a construction date is yet to be confirmed, works will likely take place in early 2025."
