Criminal charges against a Suffolk police officer have been dropped.
Andrew Bedding, 28, was charged with three counts of coercive control and one count of theft in April.
Following a review of the case, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has confirmed the four charges against the officer, who is based in Ipswich, have been dismissed.
A spokesman for the CPS said: “We have a duty to keep all cases under continuous review and to ensure the legal test is met for a prosecution.
"After carefully considering this case, we concluded that there was not enough evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction and the proceedings were stopped.
“We will be providing a full explanation of our decision to the victims.”
