Further flood alerts have been issued for parts of the Suffolk and north Essex coastline as tides are expected to be higher than usual.
The Environment Agency has issued flood alerts - the third most serious type of warning - for Felixstowe to Clacton including Orwell and Stour estuaries, the tidal Deben estuary, Bawdsey to Lowestoft, and Southwold Harbour.
This comes after an alert was issued for higher than usual tides this afternoon on the coast from Felixstowe to Clacton.
These are expected to return between 1am, and 4am tomorrow, Saturday, February 5.
The flood alert states: "The flood gates at Felixstowe seafront will be closed. The waterfront at Pin Mill and The Strand at Wherstead under the Orwell Bridge may be flooded. Water may be on the quay at Mistley."
In addition, higher than usual tides are expected on the Suffolk coast between Bawdsey and Lowestoft between 10pm and 1am.
High water levels are expected in Lake Lothing in Lowestoft and are expected to impact beach access points along the coast.
The public has been told to "take care on coastal roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger."
